Choosing to begin life coaching is a courageous step — and it’s completely normal to wonder what to expect.
At Between Us Wellness, my approach is rooted in meeting you where you are, offering compassionate support as you explore your goals, build clarity, and take action toward meaningful change.
Here’s what working together typically looks like:
Step 1: Free Consultation
We’ll start with a free 15–20 minute phone consultation.
This is a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about what you're hoping to explore, and see if we’re a good fit.
There’s no pressure and no obligation.
***If during the consultation it becomes clear that therapy or clinical services would better meet your needs, I will respectfully provide referrals to appropriate licensed mental health providers. Your well-being always comes first.***
Step 2: First Coaching Session
In our first session, we’ll work together to:
Identify the areas you’d like to focus on
Explore what motivates you
Begin setting goals that feel realistic, inspiring, and personal to you
I use a Motivational Interviewing-inspired approach, meaning you lead the way. I support you by offering structure, reflection, and encouragement.
Step 3: Ongoing Coaching Sessions
Every journey is unique. Some clients come in with a clear goal and work for a few sessions; others explore deeper life changes over time.
During ongoing sessions, we will:
Review your progress
Explore challenges without judgment
Adjust goals based on your evolving needs
Celebrate wins — big and small
Coaching is a flexible process. You set the pace. You set the priorities.
