Life coaching is a supportive, client-centered process designed to help you explore your strengths, clarify your goals, and create meaningful change.
Coaching focuses on where you are now and where you want to go. It is not diagnosing or treating mental health conditions.

At Between Us Wellness, coaching is a partnership that empowers you to move forward with confidence, purpose, and clarity.

❓ How is coaching different from therapy?

While therapy often addresses deep emotional healing, trauma, or clinical mental health concerns, life coaching is focused on personal development, future goals, and action planning.   Coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.   If clinical therapy is needed, I will respectfully refer you to trusted licensed mental health providers.

❓ What kinds of goals can I work on through coaching?

You might come to coaching to:

  • Rebuild confidence and motivation

  • Navigate major life changes or transitions

  • Clarify your personal or professional goals

  • Build healthier habits and mindset shifts

  • Manage internal obstacles like self-doubt or procrastination

  • Reconnect with your values and sense of direction

Each journey is unique. You set the focus based on your needs.

❓ What if I'm not sure exactly what I need?

That’s completely okay. It is very common.  Part of our work together is helping you uncover what’s important to you, even if it feels unclear right now.  Coaching creates a space for reflection, exploration, and growth, at your pace.

❓ How do sessions work?

Sessions are typically 60 minutes long and can be held in person or securely via video. During each session, we’ll explore your goals, motivations, challenges, and next steps. You decide what feels most important to work on. I’ll support you by offering structure, reflection, accountability, and encouragement.

❓ What if I realize I need therapy instead of coaching?

If at any point during our work together it becomes clear that therapy or clinical support would better meet your needs, I will respectfully refer you to trusted licensed mental health professionals. Your well-being is always the highest priority.
